Magic

This will be the project page for a Gameboy 'app' I'm making with a bunch of little 'applets' for things like divining, casting runes, rolling dice, magic, astrology, and whatever else that might seem interesting to include. Nothing is available for download or testing yet.


What is currently implemented

• Dice rolling (2,3,4,6,8,10,12,20,100-sided)
• Moon phase calculator (200 year range, accuracy within 2 days, for the 8 moon phases - might improve before release)
• Rune casting (1,2,3,4,5,6 spreads, using the 24 elder futhark runes)
• Tarot cards (22 major arcana using the three card spread aka past/present/future - will probably redo this for single cards and other number spread options. Initially I wanted graphical cards which imposed a 3 card limit but I couldn't fit the graphics anyways.)
• Zodiac sign calculator (zodiac sign for the given month/day, with a 7 day cusp in between signs)
• Zodiac compatibilty calculator (just for fun)

What I would like to implement

• Generating zodiac charts using ephemeris data
• Zodiac aspect tables, using the same ephemeris data
• Something utilizing the I Ching
• Numerology stuff
• Magic 8-ball/crystal ball (yes, no, try again later, etc)
• Biorhythm calculator

I will focus on adding more RNG/divination stuff before release. If there is enough interest afterward, I'll figure out if the astrology things are viable and consider suggestions other people have.
